Bug#814643: snapshot.debian.org: Please also list valid-until disabling example on start page
Package: snapshot.debian.org
Severity: wishlist
The start page says, currently:
If you want to add a specific date's archive to your apt sources.list simply add an entry like these:
deb [155]http://snapshot.debian.org/archive/debian/20091004T111800Z/ lenny main
We can have lines like the following now, though:
deb [check-valid-until=no] http://snapshot.debian.org/archive/debian/20150921T092814Z sid main
Please add this example, and the minimum APT version required to
use it, there as well. Additionally, do so for the package pages
while fixing #650783 (pretty please do that!).
That only leaves us with the problems of expired keys, but that
is already discussed in #763419 AFAICT. (That one is especially
important for things like etch where I can install the base sy‐
stem but not the security updates because the key for *those*’s
already expired now. Historic digging, cowbuilder chroot, etc…)
