[[cle-devel] Netscape 和 XCIN-2.5]

有兴趣的朋友请测试一下，在
/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/locale/zh_TW.Big5/XLC_LOCALE
中加入一行，如下:
# fs1 class
fs1 {
charset {
name BIG5-0:GLGR
}
font {
primary BIG5-0:GLGR
substitute BIG5-0:GLGR # add this line
}
}
看是否会有其他问题？没有的话可以建议 Debian package maintainer 加
入，因为加入之后 Netscape 在 XIM OverTheSpot input-style 就完全没
问题了 :-))

今天安装了xcin-2.5 , 经过一翻努力和陈向阳先生的帮助
后, 终于可以在netscape的所有地方输入中文了(OverTheSpot).
测试环境:
TurboLinux 6.0 简体中文版
xcin (from xlinux, 也许和xcin.linux.org.tw一样) + libtabe(xcin.linux.org.tw)
Netscape4.61
libnsfix-19991008
Netscape.ad (TurboLinux, 直接把GB转为BIG5, 无任何修改)
测试过程:
如果无libnsfix, 各出输入极不正常, 输入后为单字节操作.
有libnsfix, 除去写email的区域外, 都很正常. 后经陈先生指点,
修改XLC_LOCALE为,
# fs1 class
fs1 {
charset {
name BIG5-0:GLGR
}
font {
primary BIG5-0:GLGR
substitute BIG5-0:GLGR #add this line
}
}
所有地方都可以使用OverTheSpot输入了.
其它注意的问题:
netscape4.61以上版本汉字输入有问题, 一输入就crash
TurboLinux 在Chinput.ad中disable了XmTextField的
使用滑鼠中键的copy/paste, 因为它会使netscape crash.
这封email就是使用big5的netscape写的, 只是我不知如何使用
繁体的输入方法, 便使用Chinput输入了.
