Big5 碼編碼範圍

近来在 debian-chinese 上香港朋友谈到加入香港增补字符集
(Hong Kong Supplementary Character Set, HKSCS)，需要用到 Big5
码使用者造字区第二和第三段，即高位元组 0x8E～0xA0 及 0x81～0x8D，
烦请将 xcin 里的 zh_TW.Big5/sys.cin 的 charcode 部份改为
%charcode begin
plane1 0x81-0xf9
plane2 0x40-0x7e
plane2 0xa1-0xfe
%charcode end
这样，应该可以容下 HKSCS 或 Big5+ 了。话说回来，Big5+ 出版了两三年，
似乎只有少数台湾厂商支援。您认为在 GNU/Linux 底下有支援 Big5+ 的需要吗？
如果是的话，locale 的名称应该是什么？ zh_TW.Big5+、zh_TW.Big5plus、
或可沿用 zh_TW.Big5？
另外，HKSCS 跟 zh_TW.Big5+ 并不相容。如果增加了 HKSCS 的支援，
有增加 locale 名称的必要吗？ zh_HK.Big5? 或是 zh_HK.Big5-HKSCS、
zh_HK.Big5hkscs 或其他？或也索性沿用 zh_TW.Big5? Hmm... maybe a bad idea.

台湾的 Big5+ 飞不起来，那么继之而起的 Big5e 呢？
支援 HKSCS、Big5e 等增补字集固然重要，但一想到要完善的支援，
就代表有很多很多的 Big5<->UCS 转码表，至少也要三、四个。
字型也有相似的问题，不过以 Unicode 为内码的字型应该问题不太大，
有待 Unicode 3.0 的处理。
想得太复杂了。 ^_^
