Hi,

there are a lot of things you can encrypt under linux os. You will find
some howto´s here: http://www.tldp.org/HOWTO/HOWTO-INDEX/howtos.html

If you want encrypted drives or containers that work under linux and
windows try a look at treucrypt (www.truecrypt.org)
