This feature comes from Microsoft...

Theis maybe a Windows Icon of your logo or somthing like this.
In Mozilla it is schown on the TAB.

Why not create one ?
If someone Bookmark your Website, the favicon.ico is saved to.
and if they open his/her Bookmark, they see your Logo.
