process accounting does *not* show su usage



This is strange:

Sep 13 12:04:31 gaia su[11616]: + pts/6 root-andel 
Sep 13 12:04:31 gaia su[11616]: (pam_unix) session opened ...

$ lastcomm --user root --tty pts6 | grep '^su.\+Sep 13 12:04$'
$ lastcomm | grep '^su.\+Sep 13 12:04$'
$

nothing displayed. yet, root invoked /bin/su (in fact, I did it
myself on the console)

Am I missing something here?
