It's reasonable to assume updates are being prepared currently. As Debian
supports a large number of ports, many of which have several flavours of
"kernel-image" packages preparing a complete set of packages takes quite a
bit of time. If you don't want to wait, you can build a custom kernel; see
http://www.debian.org/doc/FAQ/ch-kernel.en.html .
