scp fails <sometimes< : ssh works <always>

computer1 and computer2 nfs mount home dirs
from server1

all can ssh to each other

computer1 and computer2 can scp to/from server1

computer1 and computer2 cannot scp to/from eachother

Any thoughts?  Could this be related to the nfs mounting of home dirs?
