I see what you mean. I just checked one of the machines and
I've got exactly what you say... a mix of something.log.0 files
that are in date order and those that are obviously leftovers.

It's rather a mess and I can't say I look forward to trying to
manually clean it up across the network... although I imagine
there are others with nets orders of magnitude larger than the
ones I'm dealing with.

I think I'll sleep on it and write a script tomorrow :-)
