Re: disable RPC



Try 

# apt-get remove --purge pkgname

That will remove anything related to the package (sometimes,
the directories aren't removed like /etc/pkgname).

Also, try 

# dpkg --get-selections | grep -i portmap

To see other packages related to RPCs..
