Are both NIC's the same ? There's obviously a problem with the second NIC card, perhaps the driver is not very well supported or it's just flaky (dieing =( ). If buying a new one isn't an option, switch it out for the third 'control' card you have since you won't be monitoring a heavy load there. g'luck -xbud
