Crazy idea: tracking non-issues



So, every now and then someone publishes an outrageous claim that's
obviously just wrong to anyone with a high-level of technical
knowledge.  However, for those with a low to moderate knowledge level,
such things can seem scary, and to not see any kind of security
advisory can be confusing, and could be misinterpreted as the
distribution not really being proactive about security.

Anyway, I was thinking that maybe it would be useful to actually be
such things with a quick note about why the publisher was wrong.  Not
only would it be informative, it would also be educational for users
interested in such things (perhaps as an "NVE-20XX-XXXX",
Non-Vulnerabilities and Exposures").

Anyway, just a crazy thought prompted by:
