Yes, it is open, just wanted to wait a bit for potential reactions and
maybe for collecting more fixes.

Yes, absolutely. If don't upload a new release in a few days after its
upstream release feel free to do it and also feel free to contribute
other fixes.
This is why team maintenance is better. :-)
