Hi Team, Thanks to Charles for supporting my effort to deal with serious/important issues in acct through the freeze! As a side-effect of that we now also have an autopkgtest which should help with future work. I have a stack of further fixes pending review in salsa [1] that closes four more bugs. There's a prospective changelog in the mix but essentially the changes boil down to these five areas: 1) Inadequate systemd integration. 2) Utterly broken and dated initscript. 3) Roll-your-own log rotation that was better suited to a logrotate drop-in (these top three go together). 4) Documentation patches that amounted to de facto maintainer-supplied man pages (now explicitly so, and therefore more transparent and easier to manage) or which patched generated files, sometimes ineffectively. 5) Code fixes (including t64-related) thrown up by the C23 FTBFS bug which is presumably due to be escalated. There is futher work that could be done but I would rather consolidate the work done so far first. If you like my contributions perhaps you could consider extending repo rights? Thanks, Andrew [1] https://salsa.debian.org/pkg-security-team/acct/-/merge_requests/8
