I was checking on the mdk4 project now and noticed that a fellow
Debian Developer solved the issue for upstream[0], which is great.

I will proceed to upload mdk3 and mdk4 with the fix, I would also like
to upload it to stable, but it's gonna depend on the release team
agreeing with it.
