There are still many tools out there, which have python 2 based dependencies, of one these tools is the memory forensics tools called volatility framework. The developers of this tool have managed to convert their program to run on python 3. They forked their code into the volatility 3 project on github: https://github.com/volatilityfoundation/volatility3/. Do you plan on packaging a release of volatility 3 in future releases of Debian, in order to prevent the volatility tool disappearing from the Debian repositories once python 2 get removed from Debian?

Hi Jorkano,

I already packaged Volatility3 but I need to do some tests to validate
the package and upload it. I will try make it soon.
