exactly, I guess so.

To be clear, this isn't a pkg-security related question, but a general question about ftpmasters.

I think they require a file inside the tarball, explaining the default license of the whole package
(except for files with a different license inside).
and no, adding it after is not a solution, because legally should be upstream providing it.
