Hi.

I'm sorry to find myself writing this message:

I notice you wrote

This software was developed with AI assistance to ensure robust error
handling, comprehensive documentation, and user-friendly features.

which I find very alarming.

I have a personal policy of not reviewing any "AI" "assisted" code and
also I would want to avoid running it.

This is because generataive LLMs produce *plausible* output but not
*correct* output. Studies (and informal tests by individuals) have
generally found that debugging the LLM output is harder than writing
it yourself, or debugging code written by inexpert humans. The
generative LLMs are very good at making hard-to-spot bugs.

So I regard the output of generative LLMs as memetic pollution.
I don't want to expose myself to any of it.

I'm sorry if this comes as a surprise to you. There is currently a
massive propaganda machine trying to persuade everyone that these
bullshit[1] generators are useful.

Ian.

[1] I'm using bullshit in the technical sense, from the discilpline of
pnilosophy: utterances made without caring whether they're true.
