You closed this bug by introducing unlicensed files into the package. I wrote to you in the bug report and asked for an explanation, I haven't gotten any. I would still like to know why this was done and what can be done to rectify it.
Despite those files previously being in the archive, upstream now recants previous license statements. So someone should revert my changes. COIN-OR related packages that need those data files to run their tests will need to be updated to skip the tests. It would be nice if we added a way to manually download the data and run the tests without redistributing the data.
I consider unlicensed files to be a serious issue in packages in Debian, though, I would like to be proven wrong about the license issue.
Me too, but it seems we can't use them, as you previously pointed out. Mea culpa.
