Interestingly, previous generation gfx1030 (an 6800 XT) [1] performed
better than the current generation gfx1100 (a W7800) [2] and that is a
very valuable test result to me. Something is off.
We will need to investigate that. Specifically, I want to know if this
is a device/driver issue, or a QEMU emulation issue.
Also, since there is no direct dependency on ROCm packages, our CI will
never trigger for clpeak. I will need to adapt our scheduler to account
for opencl-icd.
clpeak will add quite some value to the Debian ROCm Team's QA work.
