Dear Frederic, dear Yaroslav, I prepared a new version of the debian package for PyTables (3.4.3-2). The new version fixes a serious bug (#898577) [3], it is a compatibility issue with numpy 1.14.3 that causes a FTBFS. The new package is available on git [1] and on mentors [2].
