yes, the current plans for ngspice-dfsg are an outcome of my various
conversations with Gudjon (CC'd) who has obviously done the maintenance
of src:ngspice. We also talked about the needed maintenance of the
current ngspice packages in non-free after the introducing of
ngspice-dfsg. I will take care on this in the long term but I'm happy
for any help on this as I'm not very experienced with TclTK e.g.

The libngspice library is a optional dependency for KiCad, but no hard
requirement. So uploading ngspice-dfsg isn't a very high priority on my
side. I will need to prepare the needed changes for ngspice in non-free
before finally uploading the dfsg variant. This will all happen within
the experimental release.

Regards
Carsten
