Yeah, I haven't gotten around to fixing that upstream... the problem is that
there's a bit of an ugly solution currently that clones another git repo on-the-fly
(nasty system call) which is needed for the tests, but that doesn't work on the
test systems (security restrictions I imagine, quite sensible), hence they
break for now.
