git repo of roboptim-core

I'm currently on a streak of TEAM/QA/Non-maintainer/whatever upload
fixing "random" bugs from a list of mine, and I crossed with
https://tracker.debian.org/pkg/roboptim-core

The git repository of roboptim-core is in github, in what appears to be
the upstream repository. I find this ok for "privately" maintained
packages, but IMHO team package should have their repository in a
team-writable location.

What would you think if I import the relevant branches from that github
repository into alioth?
