Re: RFS: calculix-cgx -- A 3-dimensional pre- and post-processor for CalculiX CrunchiX

Hi Wolfgang,

sorry I missed it, because I was thinking it is the same
as calculix-ccx. What is the main difference between
cgx and ccx?

Hi all,

pushing this a little bit up.

I'm looking for a sponsor for my package calculix-cgx and calculix-cgx-doc.
Since my last request, a new upstream version of CalculiX GraphiX was
released. The new version is now 2.10.1 for calculix-cgx and 2.10 for
calculix-cgx-doc.

* Package name    : calculix-cgx
  Version         : 2.10.1
  Upstream Author : Klaus Wittig
* URL             : http://www.calculix.de/
* License         : GPL
  Programming Lang: C, C++
  Description     : A 3-dimensional pre- and post-processor for CalculiX
CrunchiX
* Git: https://anonscm.debian.org/cgit/debian-science/packages/calculix-cgx.git

* Package name    : calculix-cgx-doc
  Version         : 2.10
  Upstream Author : Klaus Wittig
* URL             : http://www.calculix.de/
* License         : GPL
  Programming Lang: C, C++
  Description     : A 3-dimensional pre- and post-processor for CalculiX
CrunchiX - The documentation files
* Git: https://anonscm.debian.org/cgit/debian-science/packages/calculix-cgx-doc.git

calculix-cgx builds the following packages:

- calculix-cgx: contains the cgx binary
- calculix-cgx-examples: contains the example files for cgx

This is a new package. The ITP bug is #783479

I will add the packages to the following task files:
* engineering
* numericalcomputations
* simulations

This package is currently maintained by the Debian Science Team and by me.

Cheers,
Wolfgang
