[Fwd: RFS: gbutils/5.6.6-1 [ITP]]
Dear debian-science team,
I am looking for a sponsor for the package "gbutils", a collection of
command-line utilities for econometrics. Below, you can find my initial
request to debian-mentors.
The package admittedly targets a niche of users (economists who know how
to use a command line!), but it is used and developed actively since at
least 2003 (and Debian packages have been provided upstream since
several years, too). I personally know the upstream developer and I can
guarantee that he is very dedicated to the software - a couple of small
problems that emerged during the packaging process were fixed within few
hours,
I am available for any further info.
Pietro
P.S: please CC: me, as I am not subscribed to the list.
