Re: Fwd: RFS: arrayfire/3.0~beta-1 [ITP] -- High performance library for parallel computing

2015-05-26 8:37 GMT+01:00 Andreas Tille <andreas@an3as.eu>:

Regarding the packaging:  Its full of

E: libarrayfire-doc: privacy-breach-google-adsense usr/share/doc/libarrayfire-doc/html/algorithm_8dox.htm
E: libarrayfire-doc: privacy-breach-may-use-debian-package usr/share/doc/libarrayfire-doc/html/algorithm_8dox.htm You may use libjs-mathjax package. (http://cdn.mathjax.org/mathjax/latest/mathjax.js)
E: libarrayfire-doc: privacy-breach-may-use-debian-package usr/share/doc/libarrayfire-doc/html/algorithm_8h.htm You may use libjs-mathjax package. (http://cdn.mathjax.org/mathjax/latest/mathjax.js)
...

errors.  Please fix these.  If you need hints how to do so, feel free to
ask.  I managed to fix this in several other packages.  Sometimes a
simple patch in the doxygen metadata is sufficient, sometimes some sed
scripting in override_dh_installdocs does the trick.

Kind regards

All the standing issues have been addressed. Indeed a single patch to the Doxygen stuff was needed to clear out
the remote services from the documentation. That, plus proper symlinks for jquery and mathjax.

The package is now lintian-free. I have also updated the package to the latest stable version. As a result, the upload
should be for unstable instead of experimental. I will rename the RFS bug accordingly later.

You can now check the packaging out with:

 gbp buildpackage --git-upstream-tag=v3.0.0 \
     --git-upstream-branch=master \
     --git-debian-branch=debian/sid \
     --git-no-pristine-tar

Or with dpkg-buildpackage at the debian/3.0.0-1 tag.

Please let me know whether everything is ok.

Best regards,

Ghislain
