Utilrb is yet another Ruby toolkit, in the spirit of facets. It includes
all the standard class extensions used in other projects.

Yes, orocos-utilrb belongs to orocos-toolchain (as project)
- do you use it? if there are other packages providing similar functionality,
how does it compare?
We use it in our lab. Not known. Orocos developers use it.
