 Here is my two cents, given the large number of API/ABI changes, I
doubt most rdepends will actually compile.
 Again *IMHO*, I would have upload vtk5.x one last time, and provide
vtk6 as a separate source package (see what happen with tiff4/5 for
example), to allow for a smooth transition. As stated before, I will
not get involved in this process, so feel free to handle it the way
you think is right.
