FYI, CEA and EDF are developing together SALOME for a while. From the
start, it is based on OpenCascade.

I don't know. I don't work for EDF or CEA but I guess they don't care
much about incompatibilities between free licenses.
I think what really matters is having a full free CAD software stack.
These problems seems minor to me and not worst all the problems.

They are pushing to see Salome into Debian. However, EDF & CEA are big
corporations. I don't know if it gets to the lawyers.
