Bug#679512: RFS: yorick-mpeg/0.1-2 [Release goal: hardening]
Package: sponsorship-requests
Severity: important
Dear mentors,
I am looking for a sponsor for my package "yorick-mpeg".
This upload fixes issues with the hardening flags, a Wheezy release goal (in
addition to complying with the debian-science policy).
* Package name : yorick-mpeg
Version : 0.1-2
Upstream Author : Dave Munro
* URL : https://github.com/dhmunro/yorick-mpeg
* License : BSD
Section : science
It builds those binary packages:
yorick-mpeg - MPEG output support for the Yorick language
To access further information about this package, please visit the following
URL:
http://mentors.debian.net/package/yorick-mpeg
Alternatively, one can download the package with dget using this command:
dget -x http://mentors.debian.net/debian/pool/main/y/yorick-mpeg/yorick-
mpeg_0.1-2.dsc
The package is also available on Alioth:
Vcs-Git: git://git.debian.org/git/debian-science/packages/yorick-mpeg.git
Vcs-Browser: http://git.debian.org/?p=debian-science/packages/yorick-mpeg.git
To test the installed package:
$ yorick

> #include "mpgtest.i"
> mpgtest
200.000000 frames of filled surface drumhead completed in 10.763189 sec
Rate for filled mesh is 64.096504 frames/(CPU sec), 18.581681 frames(wall sec)
> quit
$ mplayer test.mpg
Changes since the last upload:
* Move to maintenance to the debian-science team. Update debian/control
to comply with their policy:
+ change Maintainer, put self in Uploaders;
+ DM-Upload-Allowed: yes;
+ fill-in Vcs-* fields;
+ Priority is extra.
* Configure in a patch rather than running yorick -batch make.i at build
time which may cause unpatch to fail because it's not a good idea to
modify the same file (Makefile) both at patch-time and build-time.
* Fix machine readable copyright format
* Remove dh-make template header from rules
* Suggest yorick-av
* Simplfiy debian/rules with short dh notation
* Fortify (don't rely on yorick to provide right flags)
Regards,
Thibaut Paumard
