ive uploaded a singular git repository containing 3-1-something. ive
fixed several build issues but probably not all. just making sure nobody
else wastes his time on this.  and yes, libntl is needed. i've committed
something there, but i'm stuck.

anyway i'd appreciate comments, to-dos or help...
