You are all free to download the sources using "apt-get source" of course, and I will be happy to try to explain what I have done. I am unsure if I understand your question though, you mean to give you the link of the folders from the server, or is there some "formal" way to publish the packaging scripts without the source code? The package does not at the moment build successfully with the recent version of Geant4, but after suggestion from Steffen I still upload it. Any fixes are most welcome, I am by far not an experienced packager, and have just maintained this package according to best efforts. One of my problems have been lack of time. Geant4 takes a long time to compile, and for every fix I try I need several hours to test (is there a way to do some kind of "build --continue" so that the packaging does not have to start from scratch?). Essentially I do not have time left after a few trials. If anyone manages to get it building again it is of course no problem for me to make it available on our unofficial server. I know several people use these builds (learned this the hard way when I broke the packages at one point), so I know any patches/improvements/help are welcome not only by me! Let me know if I made any mistakes or caused problems during the upload. Cheers, Yngve |
