Hi,

I've tried with cowbuilder: the compilation starts (that is, I don't
have your error) but it doesn't get to the end....
I prepared the aster_10.3.0-1.orig.tar.gz with this procedure:

$ tar xzf aster-src-10.3.0-1.noarch.tar.gz
$ mkdir aster-10.3.0-1
$ mv STA10.3 aster-10.3.0-1/
$ tar czf aster_10.3.0-1.orig.tar.gz aster-10.3.0-1/

see also
http://www.code-aster.org/wiki/doku.php?id=en:p02_install:debianpackages
and http://www.code-aster.org/forum2/viewtopic.php?id=14417

However it gets stuck with an asteru_py2.6 process at 100%, but doesn't
go any further, just here:

pre-compilation of elements with make_surch_offi.pi [OK]
compilation of elements
with /tmp/buildd/aster-10.3.0-1/debian/tmp/usr/lib/codeaster/STA10.3/asteru_py2.6

And then nothing, just a process stuck at 100% CPU... I used to build
the packages with svn-buildpackage and I haven't had this problem
before.

BTW, is there an official way to build debian packages? Or, how are .deb
packages generated? Are they built automatically or by hand?

Bye
Andrea
