As far as *I* have understood - yes.  And every time one of the
dependencies will move to multiarch this has to be repeated.
Alternatively there were some ideas to fix the cmake build system of VTK
to cope with this automagically - but *I* have no idea how this might
work.  This weak guesswork comes from my reading of similar issues on
the Debian Med mailing list.
