Hi all,

although it does not add much because it is anterior to the above document
(which was originally posted in 2008 on debian-devel), I would like to mention
the following wiki page, that tries to summarise a brainstorm that happened
in 2007. We could use it to keep track of our current discussions as well.

Alternatively to package the data directly, we could also have wrapper packages
that download it from its original source, especially when it is distributed in
a stable and reliable location. This is the path taken by the draft utility
‘getData’:
