Re: RFS: cba
Dear Sylvestre,
thank you for your ITS (intent to sponsor). I changed the debian/control
according to [1], registered at alioth and applied to join the debian
science project. I uploaded the corrected package to mentors again and
will put a git version to alioth if you would be so kind to accept me in
the team. There are a few questions left (see downstairs), if you could
guide me a bit I think we can put the package together.
Thanks again for spending time and effort on my little program and have
a nice weekend,
Pierrot.

I can sponsor it for you but could you change a few things.
* Since you contacted Debian Science mailing list, could you follow the
policy [1] ?
In particular, maintainers, uploaders, use the debian science VCS
* could you extend the title and the description (and format it better)
it´s only a little tool, but i tried to extend the description a bit
* There are two lintian errors:
E: cba_0.3.6-1_i386.changes: bad-distribution-in-changes-file sid
i changed it back to default "unstable" (Paul Wise told me once to
change it to "sid" - i still don´t get the difference)
E: cba: copyright-contains-dh_make-todo-boilerplate
i do not understand this error
and an easy warning:
W: cba: menu-item-creates-new-section
Applications/Science /usr/share/menu/cba:2
if thought the section would be "Applications/Science"?
* are you sure libwxgtk2.8-dev is a mandatory dependency of cba ?
wxwidgets is definitely required for building the program, Jordan
Metzmeier failed building it because of this library, but i honestly
don´t know where to put this depends, the control file turned out to be
the wrong place anyway, so i deleted it there
* even if it is not required, would you mind change this tag:
Maintainer: pierrot le fou <idf.dresden@gmx.net>
changed that
(forget my comment if it is your actual name)
it is not, just a kind of nickname
Thanks
Sylvestre
