Hi,My understanding is that this functionality is being included in the latest netcdf release. Francesco Lovergine has packaged netcdf 4.1 as an experimental package. This has ncdap3 and ncdap4
functionality built into it. Regards Alastair On 2010-02-07 07:56, Nobuhiro Iwamatsu wrote:

But NetCDF library including DAP API is beta release, and NetCDF Debian package is version 3.6.2.However, we have a netcdf package already in our archive.OK, Is the version 4.1.0 or later? Please be so kind to work out the differences. From what I read, you explicitly want to package the legacy package, right?Yes, your right. I need this library using netcdf-ruby, Ruby interface handling NetCDF. If you update NetCDF package, I modified netcdf-ruby's DAP API using netcdf library instead of libnc-dap.- ----- Nobuhiro Iwamatsu : iwamatsu at debian.org/nigauri.org GPG ID: 40AD1FA6 -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.10 (GNU/Linux) iEYEARECAAYFAktuciUACgkQQSHHQzFw6+n3VwCeJ/dCdkWxEWOhnwY01ntQj8S7 /p8An1N/aPZoxsf24dCcb6Vh5DGvaQpl =u3el -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
