OPEN CASCADE IS IN DEBIAN MAIN!! Now others like Elmer and Salomé will be eligible, and without issue when LGPL Qt 4.5 goes into unstable (it's currently in experimental). Open CASCADE should be QPL-compatible, but Qt 4.4 is GPL and no longer QPL, so that doesn't currently work. FreeCAD is also a candidate, though because it links to the GPL Coin3D lib, that will require Debian to accept the Open CASCADE license as GPL-compatible... At this point I don't see a reason why they wouldn't. And there was much rejoicing!
