Thanks for the follow up.
The changes mentioned towards the beginning of the thread were
added in the following commit.
commit id: 34f2c825adce04252c76220d1712c530dda31fef
This commit was written on 25 March 2025.
And at this stage all of the testcases do pass.

The latest bug got introduced in the 2nd last commit where the current
set of testcases are failing.

And this commit was written on 20 Aug 2025

So, the latest bug which we are seeing as far as I understood was
introduced on this more recent change (Please correct me if I am wrong)
and looks like the bug which we were discussing as part of this mail-chain
is fixed.

I will also try to find a fix for the latest issue from my part.
(Also, all the commit ids mentioned above are in reference to its upstream git repo)
