I’m currently contributing to the Debian Python Team (Maintaining python-slugify) and was recently contacted about the possibility of packaging RustDesk (https://rustdesk.com <https://rustdesk.com>; https://github.com/rustdesk/rustdesk <https://github.com/rustdesk/ rustdesk> ) for Debian.

After some research, I found that RustDesk already provides a functional .deb build (https://github.com/rustdesk/rustdesk/releases/ tag/1.4.0 <https://github.com/rustdesk/rustdesk/releases/tag/1.4.0> ) and has an active upstream with regular releases. I have reached out to them and they appear to be open to collaboration to get RustDesk properly packaged for Debian.

The build instructions seem very involved (I'm not sure why that is though):

I'm also not sure if there's any prior art for flutter in Debian.
