tauri is a trending hybrid application framework, like Electron, but the backend is written in Rust, and frontend HTML/CSS/JS, using the system WebView rather than bundling Chromium.

In preparation for Atuin Desktop (https://blog.atuin.sh/atuin-desktop-runbooks-that-run/). Likely maintained in the Rust team.
