If you think that would be useful, you should certainly do it.
Personally, as you may know I find the Rust Team workflow (that you'll
be describing) quite awkward, but that certainly shouldn't be any
barrier to you presenting the current state of the art.

If Fabian gives that "101" talk, that would be a good place to learn
how the majority of Rust packages in Debian are handled.
I don't think my proposed workshop is likely to be a good fit for you
to *learn* how we do things. But:
Do you think you would be able to *contribute* ? I'm sure there are
things we can learn from Guix.
Do you think that this would work well, with you as a remote
participant ? If so, I should tick the video tickbox in my workshop
proposal.
