Hi, I won't be able to attend, and have anyway not contributed anything to the team, so I'm just in the peanut gallery, but: with the Trixie freeze dates having been just announced [1], and freezes only starting mid-March, is the possibility of getting rustc 1.85 into Trixie on the agenda for the meeting? Since Fabian's fantastic work has already landed 1.84 in Sid, and 1.85 is scheduled for February 20 and is the first version with stable support for the 2024 edition, it would be beyond fantastic to have it make it into Trixie. (Again apologizing for sitting on the sidelines asking for nice things from the people doing the hard work). [1] https://lists.debian.org/debian-devel-announce/2025/01/msg00004.html Best, Gard
