Glad you are interested in packaging Rust things in Debian. As a suggestion, you
can start with packaging and/or updating some dependencies of your target
applications, e.g. helix, following the [wiki] and [guides] in the packaging
[repo]. When you are confident, open a MR in the repo, so one or more team
members can review and help you get more familiarized with the packaging process.
Consider joining the team channel, #debian-rust:irc.oftc.net, also bridged on
matrix.debian.social. The team talk about work and hang out there. If you meet
any difficulty, don't hesitate to ask ;)
