Не работает wodim - где копать?



Всем привет!

Имеется DVD+RW drive, с недавних пор подключённый к новой материнке через PATA-SATA конвертер. Таковой глючило, но потом глючить вроде перестало (когда я запер его параметрами ядра на UDMA33) и читается всё нормально, а вот писать я раньше не пробовал. Теперь попробовал (audio CD), получился облом. 

Проблема повторилась с двумя болванками из коробки, из которой раньше (со старой материнкой) всё отлично писалось. Так что дело не в болванках. А вот в чём оно может быть? Куда копать, что пробовать? Не раскошеливаться же на новую SATA писалку...

такое повторяется на каждой попытке записи. ata3.00 - собственно писалка. ata3.01 - один из жёстких дисков, как раз тот где живут / и /home (второй ata4.00).
