Проблема: nvidia-glx конфликтует с xorg
Пользуюсь дистрибутивом Debian Testing, обновлённым когда-то из Debian
Stable через apt-get dist-upgrade

Второго июля (вчера), эдак в три часа ночи пришло очередное
обновление, удалившее nvidia-glx.
Днём я понял, что это слишком важный для иксов пакет, но установить
обратно не смог. Временно на nouveau, но это не совсем то, что нужно.
Пытался восстановить через apt-get и aptitude. По пути исправил
несколько сломанных пакетов и выяснил, что nvidia-glx косвенно
конфликтует с xorg.
