The English Challenge has started!
Bigger. Better. Even more exciting than last year. It's time to try your hand at the English Challenge - Next Stop London 2011!

Next Stop London is a World-wide competition for preliminary, secondary and high school students in three steps. The competition starts now with a multiple-choice Quiz, after which the top-scoring students will be nominated to write a short essay.

To add to the thrill of the competition, EF is proud to announce the top prize: a fun weekend in London for your entire class! The lucky winning class gets a class trip of their dreams, with sight-seeing, shopping and English lessons with EF, the world leader in international education.

Here's how to begin:
The teacher of the class can register the class for the English Challenge at www.nextstoplondon.org. You will find full instructions on the website. If you took part in the competition last year, you can update your existing account and invite your students to participate in the competition.

Students take part in a multiple choice English test.
The test is made up of three integrated sections which test the students' language knowledge.
The test comes in three different levels, one for preliminary school students, one for junior high school students or equivalent and one for high school students or equivalent.
The Quiz starts in October and runs until end of November. Every student will get to do the Quiz three times - once to practice and twice to take the test itself. The best time and result will be recorded and they will be scored on how accurately and quickly they answer the 30 questions.
