Насколько знаю линуху не повредит, так как ядро не пользуется bios-ными
данными по диску.
А это зачем?
Проблема-то не в том, что grub не ставиться. Он-то как раз нормально встает.

Done.
Проблема в том, что он не может стартануть винду.
Либо винда не ощущает себя на этом винте из-за неверной биосной трансляции.
