iptables v1.2.11 + kernel 2.6.16.16

Привет

установил ядро 2.6.16.16 после чего iptables начал выдавать 

# iptables -t nat -L
FATAL: Module ip_tables not found.
iptables v1.2.11: can't initialize iptables table `nat': iptables who? (do yo 
need to insmod?) Perhaps iptables or your kernel needs to be upgraded.

# iptables  -L

что делать, куда копать?
